Copyright and takedown requests.

1Anime respects intellectual property rights and reviews copyright notices that comply with applicable law, including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

1Anime does not host media files. We may index, link to, embed, or display information from non-affiliated third-party sources, and we can only act on material, links, metadata, or account content within our control.

A copyright notice should identify the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.

It should identify the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it. Exact 1anime.app URLs are strongly preferred.

It should include the complaining party full legal name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and physical or electronic signature.

It should include a good-faith statement that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

It should include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the sender is authorized to act for the copyright owner.

After receiving a notice, we review it for completeness and legal sufficiency.

If a notice is valid, we may remove or disable access to material, links, metadata, or account content within our control and may notify the affected user where appropriate.

If a notice is incomplete, we may request additional information before taking action.

If you believe material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.

A counter-notification should identify the removed material and where it appeared before removal.

It should include your full legal name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and physical or electronic signature.

It should include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.

It should include consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and acceptance of service of process from the original complaining party or its agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in accordance with applicable law unless the original complainant tells us legal action has been filed within the required period.

In appropriate circumstances, 1Anime may suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

We may also limit account privileges where repeated valid notices indicate ongoing policy violations.

Submitting knowingly false notices or counter-notices may create legal liability. Submit only accurate and complete information.
